Mr. Fady Juez
United Arab Emirates - 1st Vice President

Fady has more than 20 years of experience in the water industry. After working with GE Power for four years, he joined Metito in 1985 with a mandate to establish and develop the Metito business in the Gulf States. In 1988 he moved to Saudi Arabia as the Head of Contracting and in a short span of only two years took over the position of Managing Director, Cyprus. With his immense success in the region Fady then moved to the UAE in 1996 to embark on his current role as Managing Director at Metito’s global headquarters.

Fady has been an active member of International Desalination Association for over 10 years and his commitment to IDA and the water industry is as strong as ever; his work history is emphasized by an impressive record of accomplishment.

Fady is committed to promote the appropriate use of desalination on a global scale. Through his extensive experience in the water industry, he understands that the driving force to enhance the development of desalination technology is through effective world-wide communication and encouraging research. Fady is also committed to further ensure a close open dialogue between key decision makers in the private and public sectors and provide in-depth networking with other regional affiliates to develop programs and seminars which will benefit all IDA members on an individual level.
