Ahmed Al-Mudaiheem is presently the deputy Governor for Project & Technical Affairs of Saline Water Conversion Corporation. He has been Chairman of Water Desalination Engineering Chapter of Saudi Council of Engineers since 2005. He is also Director of board of IDA for last two years.
Mr. Al-Mudaiheem has a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Glasgow University, UK, and B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals Saudi Arabia. He is also holding certificates in, “Advanced Management” from University of Chicago, and, “The Advanced Executive Program” from university of California, USA.
He joined Saline Water Conversion Corporation Eastern Province, Al-Khobar as Mechanical Engineer in 1975 and promoted to Chief of Engineering Supervisory Group for Al-Jubail Desalination and Power in 1979. He became Director General of SWCC Eastern Province in 1986 and He assumed office of Deputy Governor for Project and Technical Affairs in 1992. Since he joined SWCC he has been responsible for execution of many SWCC projects such as single purpose desalination plants, multiunit dual purpose power/ desalination plants, water transmission systems and housing compounds etc.
