Executive Vice President – Desalitech, Ltd., Richard L. Stover, Ph.D. has 25 years of experience in process engineering and product development. Prior to joining Desalitech, Dr. Stover served as Chief Technical Officer for Energy Recovery, Inc. where he led the development and launch of energy recovery devices and pumps for seawater reverse osmosis.

Dr. Stover also served as Vice President of Engineering for Oasys Water where he developed forward osmosis processes for desalination, water reuse and osmotic power. He previously held technical positions with IBM and 3M.

His current work with Desalitech aims to significantly lower the cost of water treatment with a next-generation reverse osmosis process.

Dr. Stover has been granted numerous patents for desalination methods and devices. He was co-recipient of the European Desalination Society’s 2006 Sidney Loeb award for outstanding innovation.
 
Dr. Stover obtained a doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
