Larry Pelegrin has been in the water treatment industry for over 28 years and in industry for 43 years. He is Vice President Sales & Marketing for Pump Engineering LLC. In that position he is responsible for the Global Sales and Marketing of PEI’s pump and TurboCharger ERD technology, products and services. He also serves on the Board of PEI.
Previous to PEI he was Vice President Sales & Marketing for Hydranautics for 11 years. Prior he was with the US Filter Corporation for 6 years holding positions of Vice President Sales and Marketing of the corporation and Vice President Sales and Marketing for the US Filter/IWT Division.
Prior to US Filter, Mr. Pelegrin was with the DuPont Company for 25 years. The last 10 years of DuPont was his entry into the water treatment industry, where he was Manager Desalination Industry, responsible for “Permasep” products, an international business focused on water desalination membrane technology. Other DuPont assignments included direct field sales, quality management, technical service, procurement and manufacturing.
Mr. Pelegrin is a member and has served on the Board of Directors of the International Desalination Association; he is also a member of AMTA. He grew up in rural Mississippi not far from Memphis.
Larry resides in Wilmington, Delaware, when not traveling extensively, where his 4 grown children and their families, his many grandchildren also live. Delaware, although a very small state, is the home of many noted current politicians where they are unusually accessible.
He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee.
